A Taste of Our Life in Israel
Dr. Roy Brown, the creator of Accordance software for Biblical studies, visits Israel every February and March. This year Josa and I were honored that he stayed a few days at our home. His usual work back home in Florida--programming electronic tools for Bible scholars--is extremely tedious. And his visit in Israel had been hectic, as well--a merry-go-round of meetings and lectures! I encouraged him to relax a bit at the most tranquil spot that I know: the hot springs of En-Gedi. Heeding my advice, he allowed me take him on a half-day outing to the En-Gedi spa. To view Roy and my short vacation, click on the links below. (All photos are courtesy of Roy Brown, Ph.D.)

Mountains of Moab.

You can't sink in this water. It's more than one-third solid!

Roy soaking in the best hot springs in the world, at the lowest point on the face of the earth. Is this Paradise, or what?

Tourists apply the therapeutic black mud of the Dead Sea. As the mud dries in the sun, it pulls out all the aches and pains.

People come to LIFE at the DEAD Sea.
